We all like to travel. Our love for vacations and our fondness to explore the world are our common denominator. But, with so many places to visit, we often lose direction and we get confused while planning our next trip. Chicago Travel and Adventure Show is taking place February 10-11 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (5555 N. River Rd., Rosemont). At time of writing, Groupon was offering a single day admission for two for only $15. In case they run out, you can always buy the tix at https://travelshows.com/shows/chicago/
This is not just a show but it’s an awesome and enriching experience as you will get to come really close to cultures from faraway lands. Over 250 destinations showcased, you will get to attend various educational seminars, and even enjoy a SCUBA lesson in the dive pool. Do bring your children as this family-friendly event comes with fun camel rides and vacation giveaways. You will also see industry experts such as Rick Steeves and Samantha Brown.
The timing of this event tends to conflict with the Chicago Auto Show. You don’t have to skip one to attend the other. Do both! This is the largest show of its kind in the Midwest and our statistics are grim; 64% of Americans have never left the country! Life is short and our experiences become our best memories as we grow old. Take a chance and be at Rosemont this weekend. Bring your friends and family. You won’t regret it!
As member of the media, I’ll be covering the event in detail on both Saturday and Sunday, and I hope to see you there! Gates open to public at 10am Saturday!! Use #ChicagoTravelShow on Instagram and Twitter and spread the word on this fanstatic weekend event.
This show is Worth Every Dime!!
